        Technical Training Center

        Technician Classroom Experience

        The most experienced techs on the interstate.

        The TA and Petro Stopping Centers Training Center is a 12,000 Square Foot facility with 4 classrooms, 3 computer labs, 2 Truck Service Bays one of which contains a half pit, student dining and training offices. Annually the Training Center provides Leadership and Business Operations Training for over 250 Truck Service, Store, Restaurant and QSR Managers. Over 1,500 service technicians from TA Truck Service and Petro:Lube locations take formal training in Lodi, Ohio at the TA and Petro Training Center. Courses include: Heavy Duty Truck Systems, Electrical Trouble Shooting, Electronic Systems, HVAC, TIA, ASE and much more.

        To keep the Truck Service Management team current on modern technology, a Technical Supervision course was developed. The course consists of 40 hours of classroom and in-bay training conducted at the TA and Petro Training Center as well as required supplemental web based technical courses that must be completed by the Manager. Over 300 Truck Service Managers are trained annually.
